The Vision

From the Headmaster

The new school year is fast approaching. We welcome new teachers, new students, a new building and accreditation.

The administration has been working hard this summer to strengthen our school and fine tune our goals and plans. We are dedicated to providing our families with excellent quality in education and administration.

Many Christian schools today offer an easy approach to learning with tolerant character training. At Richmond Academy, we are dedicated to challenging the student to grow far beyond what they think or imagine. Our students grow to be young men and women with intellect for success and with disciplined hearts after God  .

We are thankful for the ability, the integrity, and the character that Richmond Academy has through its families, faculty and staff.

-Dr. S. Chad Ross

Expanding at Current Location

Richmond Academy is growing.

Our board has discussed and prayed about moving our location. After months of building tours and lease negotiations, we have come to the conclusion that God wants us to expand at our current location. The suite next door has become available and our expansion will be taking place by the end of July. There will be more rooms and larger rooms available for our students. We are thankful to the Lord that He is continuing to make every provision for every family desiring a private quality Christian education.

If you would like to assist in the school’s expansion, please contact the office.

Tuition News

Richmond Academy is receiving enrollment of new students for the 2004-05 school year. Call the office at 765-962-7677 or email  to receive an application packet for your child.

At this time, we offer multi-student discounts for all families. We can also offer up to a 5% discount based on financial need. Beyond this, most churches understand the importance of their children getting a private Christian education and will help. Families interested in Richmond Academy with a financial need should speak to their church's board members and ask for help.

If you are interested in sending your student to Richmond Academy, it is important to apply now. We want to ensure that your child will have books for the first day of school.

Accreditation News

We are working hard this summer on Richmond Academy's accreditation. Our goal is to be fully accredited during this next semester. This is very much sooner than our first goal of within three to five years. The Lord truly is making provision for us and keeping us on the cutting edge of success.

There are many advantages to receiving full accreditation. Perhaps the most important aspect of this process is that you can expect to receive the same Christian private quality education and professional atmosphere to be endorsed and protected by our accrediting agency.

Goods and Services

We are in need of the following services:

If you can help in any way, please contact the main office.

Do you have a gift or talent that you would like to share with the children? Please contact us about that as well. We are always looking for volunteers to enhance our academic programs.

Academy Goals

The Board, Administration, Faculty and Staff of Richmond Academy commit to partner with each family:

·         To provide an education that is scholastically excellent and Christ-centered, in an environment that is emotionally supportive and caring.

·         To develop each student’s God-given spiritual, physical, mental, social and artistic gifts to his fullest potential.

·         To develop in each student an understanding of the Lordship of Christ and encourage a personal relationship with Christ with the help of the family and church.

·         To help students develop a biblical world view, thus enabling them to serve God in spirit, mind and body, and to actively participate in the expansion of Christ’s kingdom, to exercise godly stewardship of the creation and to glorify God in every aspect of life.

·         To continually review and improve our curriculum and programs through evaluation, parent input, teacher/staff training and evaluation, and to provide extra-curricular activities as our resources allow.

·         To prepare students for success in college both in biblical and secular knowledge.

·         To ensure that our curriculum and programs will support the Richmond Academy Statement of Faith, mission, purpose and philosophy.

·         To provide regular communication regarding student progress.

·         To ensure that all board members and employees exemplify Christ in their personal lifestyle.

·         To follow the Matthew18 principle and other biblical guidelines to resolve differences and misunderstandings.

·         To pray for students, their families and Richmond Academy.
