Silent Auction to Help School’s Relocation

Richmond, IN – A silent auction in May will help raise funds to find a larger home for a new and growing Christian school in Richmond.

The Richmond Academy Parents Association will sponsor the Triune Banquet and Silent Auction at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at MCL Cafeteria. Dr. S. Chad Ross, school headmaster, said the parents’ group is seeking sponsorship for the event, which is open to the public. “As with any fundraiser, sponsors are greatly needed,” Ross said. “We need to move to a new location and are in need of funds to help us as we strive to offer the highest possible quality of services and programs.”

Richmond Academy opened in the fall of 2003 and is open to all children grades pre-K through 12. The school depends on contributions from individuals, businesses, and organizations to help achieve its vision of offering high quality education in a Christian environment for students and parents who desire it.

For those not able to make a cash donation, individuals or businesses may consider donating an item of value (such as a night’s stay, a gift certificate, merchandise, etc.) that can be sold at the auction. All donors will be recognized at the event.

Tickets are available for $12 per person or $22 per couple. The event features live brass entertainment and guests will enjoy a great selection of food purchased separately from the cafeteria. The number of tickets available is limited to seventy-five and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
