This Saturday, a silent auction will help to raise funds to put the finishing touches on the gymnasium at the Christian school Richmond Academy
The Richmond Academy Parents Association will sponsor the Triune Banquet and the silent auction.
In a press release for the event, headmaster S. Chad Ross said that the school is looking for sponsors for the event, “as with any fundraiser, sponsors are greatly needed.”
“The money we raise will be used to purchase furnishings and equipment for our new gymnasium. Our goal is to raise $10,000,” Ross said.
The gym still needs things such as a scoreboard, volleyball equipment, wall pads and other equipment. The goal is to be able to form more organized sports teams. The auction will feature an array of donated items Such as gift certificates and gift baskets.
For anyone not able to make a cash donation, the school welcomes donates of gift certificates and/or merchandise that could be sold at the auction. All donors will be recognized at the event. The event also will feature live entertainment and a catered meal.
Tickets for the event are available for $18. The number of tickets is limited to 80 and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
